Film - Love is Overrated - Filming
The project
For the filming of the romantic comedy Love is Overrated, directed by Mourad Winter and released in theaters on April 23, the production called on our services to imagine sets that matched the film’s energy and humor.
Two locations were selected: a white design loft and an elegant 19th-century villa, offering two contrasting atmospheres to support the storylines of Laura Felpin, Benjamin Tranié, Hakim Jemili, and François Damiens.
The Places
The Villa
This 19th-century residence, located 55 km west of Paris, stands out for its classic architecture and elegant atmosphere. The main living room, featuring wood paneling and frescoes, opens through large bay windows and houses a Steinway & Sons grand piano, while the décor blends designer furniture with period pieces.
Outside, an 8-hectare landscaped park with a fountain, statues, and a pool completes this refined setting.
The Loft
Located near Gare de l’Est, this 270 m² white loft, flooded with light, offers a contemporary and minimalist ambiance. Its three large glass roofs, exposed beams, and minimalist designer furniture make it an ideal setting for bright, modern scenes, in contrast with the villa.
